Egan said emergency room visits to Roseland, which sees about 1,700 patients a month, have remained the same since June. Emergency room visits haven’t dropped significantly like at other hospitals, but Roseland has seen an increase in patients in the past year after the closure of MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, which reopened temporarily this year to house coronavirus patients, Egan said.
