The fourth season of The Masked Singer is nearly over. The top six contestants are set to perform in the semi-finals on Wednesday, during which, three mysterious singers will be revealed.
Still in the running are Group A members The Sun and Popcorn, Group B’s Crocodile and Seahorse and Group C’s Jellyfish and Mushroom. Along with group performances, the Super Six will grace the stage with solo covers and drop new hints to help panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger try to figure out which celebrity is hiding behind each costume. A special guest will be on hand to help the panelists with their guesses, too.
Viewers should expect the contestants to bring their A-game, especially since only three singers will get to move forward to The Masked Singer finals after this round of the Fox competition.
The Sun will certainly be bringing the heat during her Wednesday night performance. The singer has been one of the top contenders since the start of the competition— however, a sneak peek of episode 10 teases what may be her best performance yet.

Dressed in her glorious gold dress, The Sun dishes out an ethereal cover of Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over” in the preview clip. The camera pans to Scherzinger, who is nearly in tears while watching the contestant lay it all on the stage. Of course, there’s a possibility that Popcorn, Crocodile, Seahorses, Jellyfish and Mushroom’s performances will be just as moving.
Nonetheless, only three contestants can advance on to the Season 4 finals. The three others will have to reveal their identities and join the rest of the Season 4 contestants who’ve been eliminated, including Busta Rhymes as Dragon, Brian Austin Green as Giraffe, Mark Sanchez as Baby Alien, Wendy Williams as Lips, Bob Saget as Squiggly Monster, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black’s Snow Owls, Lonzo Ball as Whatchamacallit, Dr. Elvis Francois as Serpent and Paul Anka as Broccoli.
And how could anyone forget Mickey Rourke’s big reveal as Gremlin? The actor pulled a fast one on show host Nick Cannon and the panelists when he revealed his identity before he was even eliminated.
Although the competition is winding down, there is still more Masked Singer to look forward to. Fox announced on Wednesday that the music show has been renewed for a fifth season, set to arrive sometime in 2021.
The Masked Singer Season 4 semi-finals begin on Fox on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
