The Nuggets tip off their regular season in a rematch of last season’s Western Conference semifinals against the Suns at Footprint Center in Phoenix at 8 p.m. MT on Oct. 20. The game will air on ESPN.
Phoenix swept Denver, 4-0, en route to the NBA Finals where they fell to the eventual champion Milwaukee Bucks.
Denver opens the preseason on the road at the Staples Center against the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 4. They then travel north to the Chase Center in Oakland, Calif., to take on the Golden State Warriors on Oct. 6.
The Nuggets come home Oct. 8 to play their lone preseason game at the Pepsi Center against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Denver closes its preseason schedule with back-to-back games at the Oklahoma City Thunder on Oct. 13 and on Oct. 14 at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
