This Bud’s for Bill.

Following the Patriots’ 54-13 beatdown of the Jets on Sunday, Bill Belichick was apparently satisfied enough to kick his feet up and relax. WEEI reporter Ryan Hannable spotted Belichick and Matt Patricia celebrating the win in a Gillette Stadium lounge, with Belichick sipping a Budweiser.

Why a Budweiser? Well, it’s not his drink of choice.

“No, not really,” Belichick said in a WEEI appearance on Monday. “It was just what was on the menu.”

Asked what his go-to drink would be, Belichick responded, “Whatever’s cold.”

With the Patriots at 3-4, there’s only so much satisfaction Belichick can take from demolishing the hapless Jets. But the box score paints a picture that would be hard for New England to take issue with.
