The Titans’ return from COVID-19 is on hold.
Two players tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday after two days of negative test results, MMQB.com reports. One test has been confirmed, while the other one is being rerun.
The Titans game against the Steelers was canceled last week as they had the first outbreak in the NFL with nine players and nine staff members testing positive. Tennessee was going to reopen its facilities on Wednesday, but that plan has now been halted.
The Titans were scheduled to play host to the Bills on Sunday and another postponed game could throw the NFL schedule into chaos. The Patriots game against the Broncos is also at risk after New England’s star cornerback Stephon Gilmore tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
The Patriots played the Chiefs on Monday after that game was pushed back a day following Cam Newton also testing positive.
