PHILADELPHIA, PA – As we wait for the outcome of a Presidential election, authorities across the nation continue to brace for more violence, depending on who wins. The last week of October saw continued rioting in Portland and new activity in the City of Brotherly Love after Philadelphia police shot and killed an armed black man.
The fact that he was armed with a knife, advanced at police, and had a history of violence is lost on many.
Sadly, many of those who support the rioting are younger Americans that are potential future leaders.
A recent poll taken among college students revealed some troubling things.

According to the Washington Examiner:
“America’s next generation of college students, markedly liberal and who support Joe Biden nearly 3-to-1 over President Trump, have strongly adopted the positions of the Black Lives Matter movement, according to a sweeping new survey conducted for Yale University’s William F. Buckley Program.
Embracing the view that America is racist, 51% of undergraduates 24 years old or younger said that the nation is ‘inextricably linked to white supremacy’ and that most minorities are ‘excluded from the American promise of equality.’
Even more, 64% said that whites who do not speak out against racism are ‘perpetuating the injustices’ minorities face. That was a common theme promoted by white protesters at the recent protests.”
This really shouldn’t surprise anyone, considering the overwhelmingly liberal ideology being taught on college campuses. Law Enforcement Today has written numerous articles about college professors calling for violence against cops, students turning against other students because they have conservative beliefs.
64% of the 800 students surveyed across the country believe that the violent rioting is justified, while only 28% disagreed. 8% were unsure.
It should bother everyone to know that 72% of American college students will not say unequivocally state that violence against others and destruction of property is wrong.
If these students truly cared about “social justice,” they would realize that the very looting that support has the largest adverse impact on minority communities.
According to fee.org, these students do not understand how this country works when it comes to property.
“Many left-leaning young people likely rooted their disdain for property rights in the notion that they only really matter to ‘Big Business’ or ‘the rich.’ This is mistaken. In fact, the rich, safe neighborhoods aren’t the ones being looted. The destructive acts are disproportionately victimizing urban, poorer neighborhoods and minority-owned businesses. “
So, do they really care about these communities, or are they simply jumping on the “white people are racist” bandwagon?

His claims about whiteness echo the findings of the poll, that America is inherently racist.
As such, of those polled, 52% of those surveyed believe that American taxpayers should pick up the tab to pay reparations to black Americans.
One would have to assume that there is no expectation that black Americans would be responsible for paying for that, putting that tax burden on white Americans.
While the Examiner piece did not cite a reference for the figures, they pointed to one study that said the cost of reparations could amount to as much as $6.2 quadrillion, or $151 million per descendant of slaves.
Jim McLaughlin, the poll’s author, saw the irony in the majorities beliefs of America’s entrenched white supremacy.
“The students in a country that elected a bi-racial president not once, but twice and has produced multiple black billionaires believe that their country is racist,” he said.
So, we know that they overwhelmingly support looting and and other forms of violent rioting and reparations. What else do they support?
According to the survey:
“By a 52% to 40% margin, students believe we should defund police departments because they are failing many communities.”
Ironically, 59% of the student that participated said that they also do not trust the media.
And just in case you were curious about the respondent’s demographics, none were cited. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 52.9% of college students are white, 20.9% are Hispanic, 15.1% are black, and 7.6% are Asian.
If the poll participants fell in line with those percentages, it would mean that of the 800 students surveyed, 423 were white, 167 Hispanic, 120 black, and 60 were Asian.

AMHERST, MA – They claim to be institutions of higher learning. A place for free-thinkers to be educated while developing the beliefs that they will carry the rest of their lives. A place where everyone is welcome.
Campuses that are inclusive and tolerant of every thought, belief and conviction.
But the reality is that an overwhelming majority of colleges and universities in this country will censor, silence and eliminate any voice that does not jump on their ideological bandwagon.
Anyone that doesn’t instantly bow down to the Black Lives Matter movement is labeled racist or white supremacist. And that includes showing any level of support of law enforcement.

Here are just a few examples that Campus Reform highlighted.
Leslie Neal-Boylan, the Dean of Nursing at UMass-Lowell, had the audacity to say via e-mail that “everyone’s life matters.” That email went to staff, students and faculty, shortly after the death of George Floyd.

The email further stated:
“I am writing to express my concern and condemnation of the recent (and past) acts of violence against people of color… I despair for our future as a nation if we do not stand up against violence against anyone. BLACK LIVES MATTER, but also, EVERYONE’S LIFE MATTERS.”
The comments were deemed to be racist, and she was fired a few days later, “without trial.”
Clear across the country at the University of California Los Angeles, Gordon Klein refused to lower the grading standards for his black students. Again, following the death of Floyd, students demanded to have a different standard of grading because of their “suffering.”
Klein responded to his classes via email that it would be wrong to provide “preferential treatment” to any student or group of students based on the color of their skin.
Cue the cancel culture warriors.
They started a petition seeking his dismissal form the university, gaining well over 20,000 signatures. Although, they claimed that Klein had a “blatant lack of empathy,” they were only able to get him suspended.
Now, before you point out that these schools are in liberal parts of the country, let’s take a trip down to Denton, Texas.
An adjunct math professor, Nathaniel Hiers, was fired for referring to a piece of paper he found on the ground as “garbage.”

He took the flyer and put it on the chalkboard with a hand-written message that said, “Please don’t leave garbage lying around.”
But it was the flyer’s content that got him in trouble for using the garbage reference. It warned against the use of “microaggressive” statements like “America is a melting pot” and “America is the land of opportunity.”
And it doesn’t stop with just those three examples.
Following complaints, the University of West Virginia only allowed its Chief of Police to stay in his job after he issued an apology and removed a “thin Blue Line” flag that was hanging in his HOME office, after it was seen during a Zoom call.
Read that again. The hand-carved wooden flag was hanging in the home of W.P. Chedester.

Students and faculty alike called for his firing for displaying the pro-law enforcement symbol. One professor at the university went so far as to say that Chedester was “sharing white supremacist” images.
Sadly, the campus leftists aren’t only singling out staff and faculty. They are also going after students who dare have a different view point.
