An irate man hurled a brick through the front door of a Chicago hot dog joint after he was asked to wear a face mask, wild video shows.
The Wieners Circle in the Windy City’s Lincoln Park neighborhood released the surveillance footage of the man inside the store about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to WGN-TV.
But when workers asked him to put on a mask, he became enraged, police told CNN.
The suspect is then seen grabbing snow from outside and throwing it at the counter and an off-camera employee.
He then fled in a vehicle, but returned later and threw the brick into the business, shattering the front door.
“I told him get the (expletive) outta here if you’re not gonna put a mask on,” employee Robbie Sheppard told WGN. “He got mad because I swore.”
Manager Evelyn Morris said the workers were startled when the brick came flying in later that night.
“It scared the crap out of them because you can imagine the sound of that, so they all just ran to the back,” she told the outlet.
The restaurant posted the footage on its Twitter page.

“The door is fixed and we’re hot on the trail of the suspect, thank you to all the sleuths who have reached out,” The Wieners Circle wrote.
“The brick thrower owes us $400 bucks and an apology at minimum. He was driving a Kia Soul, license plate below (sorry it’s a bit fuzzy). If you crack the code before the @Chicago_Police we will throw you a party or give you 2 row 5 center bulls tickets,” it said in a separate tweet.
Loyal customers, known as Weinerheads, have expressed support for the popular spot. One of them donated money for the repairs, WGN reported.

“If you don’t wear masks just stay home. That’s my message,” Morris told the station. “Stay home.”
On Wednesday, Gov. J.B. Pritzker said he would lift the state’s mask mandate beginning Feb. 28 if a decline in COVID-19 hospitalizations continues.
The incident remains under investigation.
