The officers’ bodycam video, Rogers said, had already been downloaded and handed over to the Illinois State Police’s public integrity task force, who investigates all shootings by police officers outside Chicago. At the end of the investigation, the suspect’s family would be allowed to review the video before it is released publicly, Rogers said.
