Heacock, a 22-year veteran, responded to a Yorkshire Estates home around 5 a.m. Sunday after calls about a “fight in progress,” according to the Delaware State Police. Two 911 calls were made, the first from a resident who said someone was fighting with other residents and destroying items in the house and the second from a man who said he and his wife had been attacked.
