Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez, the commissioner for the city’s Department for the Aging, said the city is still encouraging seniors who haven’t been vaccinated to get the shot, but that, “given the city’s requirement not to discriminate,” the city would not “distinguish” between vaccinated and unvaccinated seniors when it comes to allowing entry.
