The Illinois Department of Public Health has moved the state into Phase 1B of the vaccination distribution – for those 65 or older, along with non-health care essential workers such as first responders, educators, food and agriculture workers, manufacturing workers, corrections workers and inmates, postal workers, public transit workers, grocery store workers and staff at shelters and day cares.
