SEATTLE, WA – Remember earlier this week when Seattle mayor Jenny Durkan called the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” (CHAZ) a festival-like atmosphere, saying Seattle is fine and that the occupiers of the six city block area are just “patriots wanting a better world?”
Here is a video of those “patriots” creating a better world.
A man entered the lawless area “preaching” about Jesus. He was immediately met with resistance, and it just went downhill from there.
There is so much to unpack from this video.
He was choked by one man, requiring multiple people to get him free through shouts of “he’s not worth it.”
Once they stopped that violence, they attempted to remove him from the stage he was sitting on. As he refused to let go of his own property, a woman come in and details how to get him to turn loose saying:
“You want to know how to deal with that? Grab his pinky finger and bend it all the way back. It will loosen the fingers.”
They finally let go of the man, and he continues to say that CHAZ is a capital free zone of of Christ. That same woman then says:
“Jesus Christ says ‘if they do not receive your message, shake the dust off your feet and move to the next town.’”
She was quoting Matthew 10:14.
The preacher then informed her:
“There are those who are receiving the message, but you are blinding their eyes.”
The woman’s response was unsettling.
“I am a f—ing Baptist! Get off my stage, please.”
He finally leaves the stage, but further video shows him being choked out a second time, to the point of passing out. He is then literally dragged out of the “autonomous zone.”
The choke holds put on this man resemble the very choke holds that many of the protesters are hoping to see banned from use by police departments, assuming they don’t get “defunded” and dismantled.
Once he regained consciousness, his shirt reading “Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2 Timothy 2:3, KJV), he had a message for President Trump.
He said:
“This needs to get shut down Mr. Trump. I support you 100%. This has got to be controlled immediately. This is complete lawlessness in our city. Jenny Durkan is a complete failure. She is spineless. She will not stand up to these people. They have ruined this entire area, they’ve put paint everywhere. They’ve trashed business. It is a disgrace.
“We need our country back. Our country is gone here at Capitol Hill. It’s gone. It’s another country, it’s not America. We need it restored now.”
But there were more videos capturing the moments prior to the video we showed you above.

“You’ll die out here bro. You wanna die? Don’t push me.”
These were some of the first words he heard walking into the fenced-off “nation” of CHAZ.
The preacher’s response:
“Sin is worse than death.”
Another man interjects.
“We’re not gonna listen to you. We can’t anymore. We’re done. F— that! This isn’t about Jesus.”
Perhaps that is the problem.
Since we are quoting scripture, perhaps we need to be reminded of this one, 2 Chronicles 7:14, which reads:
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (NIV).
Let’s not forget what the mayor said about this area and the zone as a whole.
And the preacher was right. It has descended into complete lawlessness.
The “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” can easily be labeled the most radical element to have surfaced from the protests and riots plaguing the country over the past two weeks. Now, the situation has further developments.

The area is commonly referred to online, and in the media, as “CHAZ.” The area is sectioned off by rioters and miscreants and has been dubbed as a “cop free zone” in Seattle. Ironically, the police department East Precinct resides inside of the zone.
One video taken from the “CHAZ” area showcases two police officers making their way into the East Precinct, which caused a degree of strife among the anarchistic group present.
Because of this sectioning-off of the area, a police officer explained to an individual present at the area that police response times have tripled because of the display.
Tensions are high in the CHAZ after some officers came in to enter the East Precinct. Some in the crowd wanted to make sure nothing happened to the officers. Others wanted to prevent the officers from entering the zone. Arguments are breaking out amongst the crowd. pic.twitter.com/uKYLrUEycl

“These are responses to emergency calls — rapes, robberies, and all sorts of violent acts that have been occurring in the area that we’re not able to get to,” Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said.

She noted that emergency response times in the area have tripled from just over five minutes to 18 minutes.
“If that is your mother, your sister, your cousin, your neighbor’s kid that is being raped, robbed assaulted (or) otherwise victimized, you’re not going to want to have to report that it took the police three times longer to get there to provide services to them,” Best said.
She went on to say the victims are suffering because of it.
“It was never an option to have residents of the precinct, many of whom are members of our most marginalized communities by the way, waiting for an extra length of time for an officer to arrive to a violent crime in progress,” she stated.
The absurdity of the situation is further complexed by the audacity of the group that has laid claim to the area – because they’re outspoken in detailing that they own “these streets,” as said by one person in the video:
“It’s not a matter of how many cops are in there. We’re not worried about police. We have these streets already.”
What’s even crazier – the mayor thinks what’s going on in the “CHAZ” area isn’t “lawless.” Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan actually called the illegal occupation a “peaceful expression” and is mad President Trump is demanding that order be restored:
“The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone #CHAZ is not a lawless wasteland of anarchist insurrection – it is a peaceful expression of our community’s collective grief and their desire to build a better world. Given his track record, it’s not hard to believe that Trump is wrong, yet again.”
One Twitter user was kind enough to showcase video of just the inner-workings of “CHAZ,” where graffiti is being applied indiscriminately and people are dubbing themselves as the authority figures in the area.
Do you still want to stick with the “#CHAZ is not a lawless wasteland of anarchist insurrection – it is a peaceful expression of our community’s collective grief and their desire to build a better world.” https://t.co/X4r4WM5338

The president has not minced his words regarding Seattle, saying the “takeover” must end “now”:
“Seattle Mayor says, about the anarchists takeover of her city, “it is a Summer of Love”. These Liberal Dems don’t have a clue. The terrorists burn and pillage our cities, and they think it is just wonderful, even the death. Must end this Seattle takeover now!”
Meanwhile, other videos have surfaced showing the internal power struggle within “CHAZ” between the people engaged in the illegal occupation of the area:

The Mayor of Seattle is continually endorsing the ongoing criminal occupation of the area dubbed “CHAZ,” making reference to the area with words seething with warm sentiments. Quite frankly, it’s almost appalling to see it in action:
“For as long as I can remember, Capitol Hill has been autonomous – it’s always been a place where people go to express themselves freely. Today at the [CHAZ], I spoke with organizers and community about how we can move forward and keep our communities safe, together.”

The latest updates from the group that has inhabited the Seattle block was last said and filmed making their way over to Madison Park. It’s unclear as to what the intent is upon arrival in the area.

While the activity transpiring in the area is clearly criminal – in both the armed occupation and activities in general – the response to “CHAZ” has been one not just of outrage from concerned citizens, but ones poking fun at the inhabitants.

Yet, the delusion is widespread throughout Seattle’s political elite. Seattle City Council Member Kshama Sawant described what is happening in “CHAZ” as a “incredible movement” while appearing on CNN.
“What’s happening is this incredible movement… [it’s] incredibly inspiring to the vast majority of American people. But it is also threatening to the right-wing and the reactionary agenda of Donald Trump.”

There are simply no words to accurately describe the lawlessness that is ongoing in Seattle, no matter how locals like the mayor want to frame it.
They make it sound like some kind of wonderful movement of the people.
This isn’t a movement that is happening in Seattle, it is anarchy.
