Massapequa and Whitman meet Friday at noon to decide the Long Island Class I championship at Hofstra University in an intriguing matchup of two offensive powerhouses.
Massapequa is 10-1 and playing in its first Long Island Championship since 1998. Whitman is 11-0 and playing in the school’s first LIC in football.
