Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky tweeted last evening about what is necessary for business to be done in matters of the Congress:
“Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business”

This tweet sent ripples throughout the memberships of the Congress when it was pointed out that the voice vote on the matter of Chinese Virus relief bill that is scheduled for later on today may delayed due to a lack of Congressional quorum.
Two hundred and eighteen members are necessary to be present to fulfill a quorum in the House of Representatives.
Rep. Massie told local Kentucky media that not only does he intend to oppose the relief bill, but that he may call a roll call vote stating, “I’m having a really hard time with this. Because they’re saying, well it’s hard to travel, yadda yadda yadda. Well, last night, ninety six out of one hundred senators voted. All we would need is two hundred and eighteen out of four hundred and thirty five to vote.”
This morning Rep. Messie sent out a tweet stating that he will indeed call for a roll call vote:
(1/11)I swore an oath to uphold the constitution, and I take that oath seriously.
In a few moments I will request a vote on the CARES Act which means members of Congress will vote on it by pushing “yes” or “no” or “present.”

In response to Massie’s tweets and comments President Trump took to Twitter to hammer the Kentucky Congressman:
“Looks like a third rate Grandstander named @RepThomasMassie,a Congressman from, unfortunately, a truly GREAT State, Kentucky, wants to vote against the new Save Our Workers Bill in Congress”
“He just wants the publicity.”
“…throw Massie out of Republican Party!”
“By empowering the Radical Left Democrats, do nothing Kentucky politician @RepThomasMassie is making their War on the 2nd Amendment more and more difficult to win (But don’t worry, we will win anyway!)”
…& costly. Workers & small businesses need money now in order to survive. Virus wasn’t their fault. It is “HELL” dealing with the Dems, had to give up some stupid things in order to get the “big picture” done. 90% GREAT! WIN BACK HOUSE, but throw Massie out of Republican Party!

By empowering the Radical Left Democrats, do nothing Kentucky politician @RepThomasMassie is making their War on the 2nd Amendment more and more difficult to win (But don’t worry, we will win anyway!). He is a disaster for America, and for the Great State of Kentucky!
