Get ready for falafel platters and unlimited white sauce.
The Halal Guys, the Middle Eastern halal street food concept, is opening its first location in Santa Clara on Sept. 4. The fast-casual restaurant will be opening at 2526 Augustine Drive. It’s the company’s eighth location in the Bay Area.
The new 1,400-square-foot location will be operated by Patrick Mock, who also operates The Halal Guys operations in San Jose and Sunnyvale. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with outdoor dining and take-out until further notice.
The Halal Guys’ menu will be the same as its other locations: A variety of beef, gyro, falafel and chicken platters with salad, rice and grilled tomato along with pita bread wraps, hummus, baba ghanoush, fries and baklava.
Socially-distanced grand opening celebrations will be spread over multiple weeks with giveaways and door prizes available each day.
