Gunfire erupted around 3 a.m. Saturday in the downtown area dubbed CHOP, which stands for “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” zone, police said in a statement on Twitter. Video of the incident shows volunteers rushing to help the victims, who were ultimately taken to Harborview Medical Center.
