Senator Sasse open to independent investigation

Republican Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska told Elaine Quijano on “Red & Blue” that President Trump should explain what his “tapes” tweet meant and that even alluding to having Oval Office recordings is “crazy.” Senator Sasse also said he’d be open to an independent Russia investigation, and that he doesn’t understand what the president’s goals are when it comes to Russia.
