San Antonio International Airport went into lockdown Thursday afternoon after an “officer-involved shooting” at the plane hub, local authorities said.
The shooting occurred at 9800 Airport Boulevard, but “there is no active threat to the public,” local police posted on Twitter.
The identity and status of the victim was not immediately clear, though San Antonio PD said “no other injuries” had been reported.
A witness told News 4 San Antonio that TSA agents told passengers there was an active shooter.
