Because New Yorkers, despite our reputations as a bit abrasive, are always here for each other when it counts. After 9/11, New Yorkers came together to mourn and to rebuild. Today, New Yorkers come together to grocery shop for neighbors who can’t risk going outside, to reach out to community members to see how we can be of service, and to strive to maintain a healthy six feet apart from one another even as we continue, as much as possible, to safely enjoy all the wonder that our city has to offer.
