The city’s not yet ready to expand its current hotel placement program to include all the homeless, citing safety and health concerns. But it could provide relief for those people sheltering in the subways and for the hotel owners desperate for a cash infusion, according to Vijay Dandapani, president of the Hotel Association of New York City.
