A city Department of Sanitation worker — who was arrested for participating in the Capitol riot after a Post story identified him— was ordered released Friday on a $250,000 bond.
Dominick Madden, 43, appeared in Brooklyn federal court on a complaint out of Washington, DC, on charges of violent entry into the Capitol, remaining in a restricted building and disorderly conduct in a restricted building.
Magistrate Judge Ramon Reyes Jr. sprang the QAnon believing trash hauler on a $250,000 bond secured by his sister and brother-in-law’s Middletown, New Jersey, home.
Federal authorities tracked down Madden after a Jan. 14 Post story named him in footage of the deadly Jan. 6 siege that was circulating online. In the video, he is shown outside the Capitol wearing a blue Qanon hoodie and waving a Trump flag.
Surveillance footage from inside the building shows him entering through the Senate Wing door and walking through the Crypt area before departing 13 minutes later, officials said.
He called out sick to attend the pro-Trump rally that devolved into the violent assault on the Capitol that left five people dead, according to court papers. Madden has been suspended by the Sanitation Department.
Defense lawyer John Rapawy didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
