An NFL player is asking for prayers for his baby boy, who is hospitalized with COVID-19 and will undergo surgery Sunday morning for serious bleeding.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Ryan Switzer revealed his 9-month-old son Christian’s plight on social media Saturday.

In a series of tweets, the NFL player told his fans Christian, needed three blood transfusions and underwent a CT scan. He asked for prayers as his son was prepared for surgery.

“I’m asking everyone that this tweet comes across to please just take a second and say a prayer for our son Christian.”

“He’s 9 months and currently in the hospital after he woke up in his blood. He’s Covid positive,” Switzer wrote.

“One of the scans finally found the source of the bleeding and the surgeons are confident they can fix his issue,” he said in a follow-up tweet Saturday night, adding that little Christian is in stable condition.
