April was an interesting month and one that will go down in history. The Denver Metro community, just as many others across the nation, endured a variety of challenges brought on by the spread of COVID-19. Many businesses temporarily closed the doors to their brick-and-mortar locations, students transitioned to online education, and as a society, we distanced ourselves from the social activities and outings we typically enjoy during the spring. And while much of what we would consider “normal” everyday life was altered, many things stayed the same.
For many reasons, consumers continued to buy and sell homes during this time. LIV Sotheby’s International Realty (LIV SIR), continued to meet the needs of our clients through a robust remote work plan and the use of virtual solutions to help its clients meet their real estate and lifestyle goals.
There were many significant sales in Denver Metro and the surrounding communities during the month of April. Through the use of 3D tours, virtual showings, and other technologies, interested homebuyers were able to continue with their buying journey from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
The highest-priced Denver Metro area sale that LIV SIR participated in last month was the $2,986,404 sale of 749 Emberglow Lane in BackCountry. LIV SIR broker, Wanda Ford represented the buyer of this impressive home. Its contemporary design paired with natural stonework on the exterior, seamlessly blend modern and mountain aesthesis for a true one-of-a-kind living experience.
Ford also represented both the buyer and seller of 617 Cliffgate Lane in The Village at Castle Pines, which sold in April for $2,937,500. Inspired by European design, the beauty of the home is outmatched only by the sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains that can be enjoyed from the property. The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom manor features luxurious outdoor living spaces including expansive terraces, an outdoor kitchen, and bar, as well as a resort-style pool and spa.
In Denver, LIV SIR brokers represented both the buyer and seller in the sale of the beautiful brick home at 1041 South Gilpin Street. Josh Behr represented the seller while Ian Wolfe and Chris Bouc represented the buyer who purchased this home for $2,467,800 last month. The classic design and open-concept floor plan made this home a fantastic find in the highly coveted Washington Park neighborhood. The designer finishes throughout the home create a relaxed yet chic ambiance.
Josh Behr also had the pleasure of representing both the buyer and the seller of 3 Huntwick Lane in Englewood. This home sold in April for the price of $2,463,000. Set on more than two acres, the house comes with a spacious yard that features a heated pool complete with a waterfall, diving board, and waterslide. The sellers recently updated the home with luxurious finishes including white oak floors, custom alder cabinets, and custom doors. As an added bonus, the large basement has a home fitness area, wet bar, and home theater.
Although last month presented a different way of doing business in the real estate industry, motivated buyers were still able to purchase their dream homes and fulfill their Colorado lifestyle fantasies.
