The Canadian prime minister broke that news during a Tuesday morning COVID-19 press briefing, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reports. According to the CBC, Trudeau made his comments while telling his constituents that it’s important to continue social distancing as cases in areas including Alberta, B.C., Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec are rising to levels not seen since spring.
