Around 7:30 p.m. Friday, Grundy Center police officers conducted a traffic stop on Michael Thomas Lang, who fled the scene and led officers on a chase before eventually getting out of his car and assaulted one of the officers, taking his radio and Taser and putting him in a chokehold, according to the Iowa Department of Public Safety.
