A fourth Colorado In-N-Out Burger location is opening in Lakewood on Monday. It’s the third spot in the metro area, and if there’s anything to be learned from the last few openings, there will be traffic.
Lakewood police shared their plan for dealing with the traffic at the new restaurant on South Wadsworth Boulevard, north of West Alameda Avenue.
On Sunday, they said if you’re headed to the drive-thru, go to West First Avenue, turn onto Teller Street, then go south on Teller to West Alameda Avenue. Take a right to get in the queue. There will be police and staff helping to keep traffic flowing.
The restaurant will be open 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily except for Fridays and Saturdays, when it will stay open until 1:30 a.m. There’s a one-car drive-thru lane, 74 seats inside and another 72 outside. About 80 people will work at the establishment.
If you’re looking to dine in at the Lakewood In-N-Out, you’re instructed to drive from South Wadsworth Boulevard to West Bayaud Avenue, where you will follow flaggers and signs. Parking is also available at the nearby Belmar shopping center parking garage.
Lakewood, here are your *drive through* instructions: Go W 1st Ave to Teller St. Then drive south to W Alameda, turn right & get in the queue line. Follow the signs, the cones, the flagging staff & your favorite police department. S Vance St is for hospital/bank/Walgreens/V.I. pic.twitter.com/zNJmY2efUG
