BEVERLY HILLS, CA.- In the ultimate case of karma biting someone in the ass, this is perfect. As we have seen over the past month, Hollywood elites have been at the forefront of contributing to bail out sometimes violent protesters, the defund the police movement, and virtue signaling by admitting their “white privilege.” How sweet was it then to see an overnight demonstration Friday in Beverly Hills?
Police told NBC-4 that 28 people were arrested Saturday for violating a recently passed city ordinance which banned most nighttime gatherings of 10 or more people, according to a sergeant from the Beverly Hills PD.
The unlawful assembly in the area of Rexford Dr & Carmelita Ave has ended with arrests being made. Protesters have now left the City.

Police Sgt. Thomas West told City News Service that most of the arrests were for unlawful assembly, and were made around 1 a.m. One suspect was charged with suspicion of arson.
“Apparently the suspect was [attempting] to light a building or something on fire,” West said. “They [the arrestees] are here at our station being processed. Once they are processed, they can be cited out. With 28 people, it’s just taking a while.”
The demonstrations started at around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Santa Monica Boulevard, according to BHPD. Police said around 100 protesters sat in the middle of the roadway by 8:00 p.m., which impacted traffic.
The demonstration then moved into a residential area of Rodeo Drive, stopping briefly at the Beverly Hills sign.
Some of the responses to the tweet were classic:
Here, we have someone who thinks that kissing up to the protesters and telling them you support their cause, but stay the hell out of our neighborhood:
@BeverlyHillsPD first, thank you for job well done. 2nd, have leaders from ur department sat down w/ whomever is organizing protests & said “We applaud ur cause & support your right for peaceful protest, but not into neighborhoods at 10 pm? Communication is key.

Then we have the person who flunked constitutional law, but stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Then you have someone who feels like most of the rest of us do:
Since movie stars are fueling this movement along with defunding police, you should let Hollywood see their creation.

I guess rich Beverly Hills residents don’t really support the protests then. Do they think fighting these causes stops at 10pm like if it’s a work day for them??

Funny how rich people who are funding those communists don’t want it in their neighborhood and get action right away to get them removed,,,

On June 13, Beverly Hills banned nighttime gatherings of at least 10 or more people in residential areas, and other public places. This was in response to two protests that apparently interrupted the “beautiful people’s” “beauty rest,” disrupting the “tranquility” of a neighborhood.
You see, the beautiful people who populate Hollywood are fine telling the rest of us how to live our lives, and lecturing us on our “privilege,” telling us we need defund the police while they live in their gated mansions with private security, and saying that we don’t need a border wall while they live behind six-foot walls. They’re hypocrites.
The ban, put in place via a proclamation from City Manager George Chavez acting in his role as director of emergency services, was a response to two nighttime protests in residential areas conducted by a group called Occupy Beverly Hills.
According to the proclamation, a protest held on June 13 “included bullhorns and amplified music and disrupted the tranquility of the residential neighborhood during hours when many people would be ordinarily sleeping.”
Awwww. Poor babies.
The protesters who gathered on Friday, affiliated with Black Lives Matter (you know, the group all the Hollywood leftists have been donating to) chanted as they marched through the neighborhood, “Eat the rich!” and “Abolish capitalism now!”
The managing editor of Human Events, Ian Miles Cheong compiled videos of the demonstration on his Twitter account, saying at one point:
“The Black Lives Matter mob shut down Santa Monica Boulevard, Rodeo Drive and intersections around the city center,” Cheong wrote. He noted at one point the mob “seized a privately owned American flag in a residential suburb, shredding it and pulling it down.”

So does that include ‘eating’ Oprah and Will Smith?

….I suspect that most of these marchers are a bunch of pampered white-liberal females with nothing else better to do with their lives. Most of them can’t get a “real” man because they are too busy complaining about their internet download speed!!! 🙄

And what we’ve all been thinking:
As much as I hate BLM.. but this.. might make me respect them for teaching Hollywood the folly of their hubris
— Vladimir Makarov (@CzarJoff) June 27, 2020
So, in this case, clearly this wasn’t one of the Hollywood celebrities because unless it was someone like Jon Voight or James Woods, they definitely wouldn’t be flying an American flag—perhaps an old remnant from the Soviet Union.

“The police showed up in full force to arrest members of the Black Lives Matter mob making a nuisance of themselves across residential Los Angeles streets,” Cheong captioned one post. “One pretended to be injured by the police and forced them to drag him.”
The city did delineate between protests and “quiet” events. “Any assembly that is silent, such as a candlelight vigil, and gatherings on private property are exempt from this emergency order,” the city added.
Liberal Hollywood elites have been lecturing us for years on everything from global warming, aka “climate change” (as they jet set around the world in private jets), to wage disparity, poverty, homelessness and every other kind of social justice topic, yet you don’t see them living in the inner-city neighborhoods. It’s easy to demand the police be defunded when you have professional armed bodyguards to protect you.
@johnlegend @jtimberlake @Sethrogen @SteveCarell @chrissyteigen still want to defund the police? This could just as easily be you getting attacked…. https://t.co/sC04K3lAbb

Now, the Hollywood elites are getting a taste of the medicine they’ve been telling the rest of us to tolerate for years. And it doesn’t taste too good, does it?
Karma-in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences. This is also called “what goes around, comes around.”
To quote Khan from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and the old Klingon proverb- Revenge is a dish best served cold…it is very cold…in space.
Getting a little cold there, Hollywood liberal hypocrites?
