Giuliani’s son Andrew, a White House staffer, tested positive for the virus Friday. He is one of nearly 12 million Americans to have been infected with the virus the president has admitted to downplaying. More than a quarter-million people in the U.S. have died from COVID-19 and there is still no remedy available, though Pfizer is in the process of seeking approval for emergency use. That vaccine could be made available on a limited basis before the end of the year.
