Democrats are shameless. In the middle of an economic crisis,
Democrats are more interested in a veritable smorgasbord of big
government, social engineering and giveaways than helping the
American people.

America is currently experiencing an economic crisis not seen
since the Great Depression, where governors across the nation have
imposed travel restrictions that are forcing small businesses to
close, and people to lose their paychecks.

The United States Senate had a framework of an agreement in
place on Sunday, until Nancy Pelosi rode in on her broomstick and
the deal fell apart.

Pelosi and the far-left wing of the Democratic party saw the
current situation as the perfect opportunity to implement their
big-government, progressive agenda. Out of over 1,400 pages, there
is very little in there which will help the American people recover
financially. There is a ton in there, however that sucks up to the
far left wing of the Democratic party.

Here is some
of what Pelosi and the Democrats are holding the
aid package up for.

[vc_row height="auto" width="full" css="%7B%22default%22%3A%7B%22margin-left%22%3A%220%22%2C%22margin-top%22%3A%220%22%2C%22margin-bottom%22%3A%220%22%2C%22margin-right%22%3A%220%22%2C%22padding-left%22%3A%220%22%2C%22padding-top%22%3A%220%22%2C%22padding-bottom%22%3A%220%22%2C%22padding-right%22%3A%220%22%7D%7D"][vc_column][us_page_block id="48000"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Law Enforcement Today has learned that one of
Pelosi’s priorities
in the stimulus bill is to “mandate”
a practice called “ballot harvesting,” which would allow
designated people to return other people’s ballots to polling
places without any limit on the selection of ballots.

In 2016, the practice was legalized in California and was used
during the 2018 midterm elections. It makes it possible for any
person to drop off another person’s ballot at a polling station.
There is typically no approach for vetting or verifying those who
deliver the ballots—no history checks or identification
requirements. In 2018, Democrats dropped off hundreds of thousands
of ballots at polling stations, and somehow the Democrats were able
to flip seven Republican held congressional seats. How weird is
that?

Ballot harvesting is illegal in most states because it is
susceptible to fraud. In 2018, Republicans were caught unaware
until they lost the seven seats in California. In recent elections,
Republicans have tried using the tactics, but unlike Democrats,
most Republicans refused to give their ballots to strangers.

California’s law has yet to be challenged in court. However,
anyone who looks at such a system can see that it is ripe to be
abused.

Now, Pelosi wants to sneak that provision into the stimulus bill
and make that system nationwide. The proposal in the bill says:

  1. Shall permit a voter to designate any person to return
a voted and sealed absentee ballot to the post office, a ballot
drop-off location, tribally designated building, or election office
so long as the person designated to return the ballot does not
receive any form of compensation based on the number of ballots
that the person has returned, and no individual, group, or
organization provides compensation on this basis; and (B) may not
put any limit on how many voted and sealed absentee ballots any
designated person can return to the post office, a ballot drop off
location, tribally designated building, or election
    office.

So, in other words, paid operatives of a political party can
truck thousands of ballots to the polls, as long as they earn a
salary or fee and are not paid by the ballot.

In third-world countries, this is known as “ballot stuffing”
and is outlawed in most democracies due to the possibility of
fraud.

Let’s look at some other goodies in Pelosi’s “relief”
package, otherwise known as a progressive’s dream.

The word “diversity” is mentioned 32 times, according
to the Washington Free Beacon.
The proposed bill is over 1,400
pages and is called the “Take Responsibility for Workers and
Families Act.”

The bill includes a section that wants to “ensure that
corporate boards reflect the diversity and perspectives of the
communities and consumers impacted by the hardships due to the
coronavirus disease.” The word “inclusion” appears 14 times
in the bill’s text.

Another part of the bill titled “Diversity Report” would
establish a congressional oversight panel that would require any
corporation that receives federal aid related to coronavirus would
have to provide “diversity data” to congress.

The required data would need to have information about the
corporation’s employees and board members in terms of “race,
gender and ethnic identity.” Corporations would also have to
provide demographic data on the corporation’s suppliers, service
providers, consultants, and the various financial institutions
utilized by the company.

home for those who support emergency responders and veterans called
LET Unity.  We reinvest the proceeds into sharing their untold
stories. Click to check it out.

It also requires companies to compare the salaries of employees
based on genders and race and also would have to provide
information on the “number of staff and budget dedicated to
diversity and inclusion initiatives.” They would also require any
company receiving federal assistance “must maintain officials and
budget dedicated to diversity and inclusion initiatives for no less
than 5 years after disbursement of funds.”

Yes, all of that is VITAL in order to help the American
people.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.),
called Pelosi’s bill
a “ton of crap that has absolutely
nothing to do with the public health emergency that we face at this
moment.”

Some of Pelosi’s other “priorities” include bailing out
the U.S. Postal Service, which hasn’t even requested any type of
assistance, mandating a $15 an hour minimum wage for any business
that accepts assistance funds, same-day voter registration in all
50 states, and new environmental regulations for airlines, which
have been among the hardest-hit industries in the nation.

“We’ve got families that are suffering,” Sasse
said. “We’ve got small businesses that are closing literally by
the hour. We have doctors fighting to prevent their hospitals from
being overwhelmed. And what does Speaker Pelosi try to do? She’s
trying to take hostages about her dream legislation, all sorts of
dream legislative provisions that have nothing to do with this
moment and say the American public can’t get access to the public
health piece of legislation or the economic relief pieces of
legislation unless she gets hostages that are entirely unrelated to
this moment.”

Sasse also hammered Pelosi for attempting to smuggle
pro-abortion funding into the House’s earlier phase-two
coronavirus stimulus package earlier this month:

“We need to be ramping up our diagnostic testing, not
waging culture wars at the behest of Planned Parenthood. Good
grief,” Sasse had said at that time.

The bill would give nearly $40 billion to colleges and
universities to “stabilize funding,” as if colleges and
universities, which are already flush with cash, need more
money.

Airlines would be forced to cut their carbon emissions in half
by 2050, would have to be “carbon neutral” within five years,
and they also included a “cash for clunkers” type program to
buy back aircraft that are less fuel efficient from airlines.

To help the American people through these
trying times, Democrats are insisting the
#coronavirus
relief package includes increased emissions
standards for airlines and wind and solar tax deductions. Wait…is
help the right word? #No

The Democrat bill would also put in place tax credits for wind
and solar. Because as we all know, wind and solar power will help
the American people recover from both the coronavirus and the
economic fallout from it.

The bill designates $278 million for the IRS and $35 million for
the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Seriously.

Jesús H Christ, Nancy’s coronavirus bill
wants $35,000,000 for the JFK performing arts center.

Democrats never get to use the word slush fund again, ever.

According to Breitbart News, here are some
additional goodies
in the over 1,400 page document:

Page 127- Corporation for Public Broadcasting- $300 million
“to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus,” $50
million “to support the public television system.”

Page 39- IRS gets $278 million, of which $236 million is given
to “Taxpayer Services to “prevent, prepare for and respond to
coronavirus.” $42 million goes to “enforcement”
category.

Page 150- $390 million to the Department of State Migration and
Refugee Assistance Program for “migration and refugee
assistance.”

Page 127- $500 million to the Institute for Museum and Library
Services “to expand digital network access, purchase tablets and
other internet-enabled devices, for operational expenses, and
provide technical support.”

Page 15- NOAA is granted $32.2 million “for necessary expenses
to prevent, prepare for and respond to coronavirus…”

Page 88- the “Ryan White HIV/AIDS program receives an addition
$90 million

Page 119- Gallaudet University in Washington, DC is granted $7
million “to help defray expenses (which may include lost revenue,
reimbursement for expenses already incurred, technology costs
associated with a transition to distance learning, faculty and
staff trainings, and payroll).”

Page 123- Howard University in Washington, DC gets $13 million
for similar open-ended expenses. (NOTE: Howard’s
endowment fund
is currently at $692 million).

Remember this. In the middle of an economic crisis, where the
number one priority should be helping businesses, especially small
businesses, and helping the American people try to live in some
semblance of normalcy, the Democrats are more interested in putting
out a liberal progressive smorgasbord of big government programs.
They are absolutely shameless.
