The White Sox have been particularly proactive in their approach. More than 90% of the team’s traveling party has received the vaccine, general manager Rick Hahn said. The Sox thanked the city, the Chicago Department of Public Health and Rush University Medical Center for providing the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccines to coaches, players and clubhouse staff. While the Sox have made strides, they still haven’t been able to vaccinate everyone at their Schaumburg training facility. “As a result, we are not yet as an organization over the 85% number,” Hahn said.
