San Jose State’s matchup with Boise State has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 cases and contact tracing within the Boise State program, the Mountain West announced this morning.
The game will be declared a no contest and there are no plans to reschedule.
“We arrived in Boise on Friday and learned this news Saturday morning,” said San Jose State Athletics Director Marie Tuite. “Our players and coaches were looking forward to this game with great anticipation. It is a big disappointment to everyone that we are not able to play this game.”
This is the second week in a row San Jose State will not play due. San Jose State’s game against Fresno State was canceled due to contact tracing in the Fresno State program.
