New York’s coronavirus positivity rate ticked up slightly as the number of those hospitalized with the bug continued to fall.

The positivity rate went to 4.75 percent up from 4.65 percent a day earlier, Gov. Cuomo said Saturday.

The positivity rate in the five boroughs Friday, measured on a seven day average, was 5.24 percent. That was slightly lower than the previous day, when it stood at 5.27 percent.

Limited indoor dining could resume in the five boroughs beginning on Valentine’s Day if the infection rate continued to decline, Cuomo has said.

Those hospitalized with COVID-19 statewide fell to 8,176 Friday down 181 from the previous day, the governor said.

There were 140 deaths in the state Friday, 60 of which were in New York City.
