Coping during COVID-19: One son brings food, one Facetimes
with me 1

We asked readers to tell us how they’re coping during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, we bring you more of their responses.

I am doing well. My oldest son brings me food. My other son Facetimes me with my two youngest grandchildren. I text my buddies and phone my sister in Bolivar NY.

I miss seeing all my beautiful granddaughters (4) and my energetic grandsons (4). I’m staying home. It is the only way I help. I did go out to give blood on April 7 at Stanford.

I do get out and walk on mostly deserted streets in my neighborhood. I do about 3-4 miles a day. I listen to the news, watch a movie, delete 50-100 spam emails, and work in the yard preserving my wife’s flowers. She passed away on Jan 28, before all this happened.

And I pray for all those on the front lines. Especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
