In Highland Park, Margi Bordo wanted to show support to essential workers after her husband, an emergency room physician, was diagnosed with COVID-19. Her project sells yard signs offering messages of encouragement. She then takes those proceeds and donates them to the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund.
