Four more Cook County court employees and three residents at the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center have tested positive for COVID-19.

Two of the employees are juvenile probation officers at the Near West Side juvenile center, according to a Monday statement from the Cook County Chief Judge’s office.

Another employee is an adult probation officer at the juvenile center, and the fourth employee is a court reporter at the Maywood Courthouse.

Since the pandemic began, 201 employees and 17 judges from the chief judge’s office have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the statement.

The three juvenile residents who tested positive were recently admitted to the detention center, according to the statement. Since March, 69 juvenile residents and 79 staff members at the detention center have tested positive for COVID-19.
