He did not wear a mask at all times when meeting with colleagues, AP said, but at the same time he never entered the execution facility or the prison’s command center. He also did not overlap with dozens of Bureau of Prisons employees in charge of assembling the executions, who arrived at Terre Haute after he left, AP reported.
