Bronx blaze: A Bronx apartment blaze on Tuesday left four women dead. Dwanea “Renee” Blake, 42, and her mother Mirabel Bryan, 70 — both healthcare workers—died in the fire along with neighbors Hepsibah Nation, 93, and her caretaker, Phyllis McGregor, 76. “Apparently they found them in the bathroom. I’m still in shock. I’m numb,” Blake’s brother, Tom Blake, told the Daily News. “I gotta go to the hospital now. We’re trying to ID the body but they won’t let us, I guess because of COVID.”
