DENVER, CO – All hell is breaking loose in the Mile High City. Clashing ideologies met today, with Antifa-inspired ‘ideas’ on one side, and pro-police patriots on the other.
It left one person dead.
As the rallies took place, the two sides had very little face-to-face interaction. Police had cordoned off the Greek Amphitheater, making it hard for the two sides to come into contact. Denver Police had help from at least one other metro-area sheriff’s department.
As the rallies were ending and people were heading home, things turned sour quickly. According to witnesses, one of the law enforcement supporters sprayed mace at a protester. That patriot was then shot at point blank range.
In the video below, a cloud of red mist can be seen, presumably the pepper spray. The videographer moved towards the scene after the shot rang out. As they get closer, you can see police move in on a suspect, while a man can be seen laying on the ground.
It was not immediately known of the man that was shot randomly sprayed mace at the suspect, or of it was done in self-defense.

According the the US Sun, whose headline billed the victim as a right-wing militia member, reported:
“The victim sprayed mace at another demonstrator, who then shot the mace-wielding protester with a handgun, the Denver Post reported.
Ambulances rushed to the scene immediately after the violent clash and transported the victim to a hospital, where he died.
Hours after the shooting, Denver authorities confirmed to KUSA that the victim died.”

The Patriot Muster was organized by John “Tig” Tiegen. For any of our readers unfamiliar with Tiegen, he was one of the survivors of the US Consulate in Benghazi, Lebanon that led to the deaths of four Americans, including to members of the security team that Tiegen was a member of.
Their story was put on the big screen in the movie 13 Hours. Tiegen is a ardent supporter of both President Trump and law enforcement.
He told a local radio station last week that he hoped that the events were non-violent.
“But, if they come towards me and come at me violent, I’m coming back 10 times fold.”
The other rally, as reported by the Denverite, was:
“the Denver Communists, Colorado Socialist Revolution and other groups organized what they called ‘A Black Lives Matter Anti-Fascist Soup Drive.’ That appears to be a reference to Trump’s July claim that protesters had assaulted police officers with cans of soup. The event’s original title was ‘Rally to Oppose Fascism.’”
But, the Antifa rally was scheduled to “drown out” the Patriot Muster.
The Denver Communists, posted Friday on Facebook:
“We feel it is our responsibility to vocally oppose fascists every time the try to assemble. And we hope you feel the same way! And what are our options? To cede our streets to them?
We scheduled our action after learning that the militia-fascists had called a patriot muster against the Black Lives Matter movement, anti-fascists and Marxists,’ a spokesperson for Denver Communists told Westword.
That’s us — guilty as charged and happy to oblige with our presence.”
Yes, Antifa communists see John Tiegen as a militiaman.
As seen in the cellphone video above, after the shots rang out, police on the scene immediately took the shooter and one other person into custody. Ambulance crews nearby went to work on the victim, transporting him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“The shooting is being investigated as a homicide, DPD said.
DPD originally said that two suspects were in custody, and later found that the second individual was not involved in the incident. DPD said the second individual was a person of interest at the time of their arrest.”
While the reasons are unknown, a 9NEWS employee and contractor were taken into custody ay the scene. 9News states that they have not been contacted by either of their employees and do not currently know where either of them is.
As we have been writing this story, Denver police released an update via their Twitter feed.
Update: Further investigation has determined the suspect is a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Law Enforcement Today has not been able to find any details regarding private security firms that were engaged in working the event for either group.
It is not known at this point why a security guard would pull a weapon and fire it at someone from point blank range, or if it was done in the line of on-the-clock responsibilities or in a civilian capacity.
This is an ongoing story and we will provide updates as they become available.
Suspect accused in plot to target police officers in their homes, kidnap a governor: Trump ‘is a tyrant’.
The editorial comments in this are brought to you by a staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.
—
LANSING, MI – Since the news of the alleged kidnapping plot of Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, democrats and others have quickly tried to blame the President for the plot.
Now, we see that at least one of the alleged kidnappers seemingly has similar talking points from the democrats, as he called the President a tyrant.
One of the alleged attempted kidnappers, Brandon Caserta, apparently does not have a lot of respect for the President. On a video from Twitter user Jack Posobiec, Caserta said:
“Trump is not your friend dude. And it amazes me that people actually, like, believe that when he’s shown over and over again that he’s a tyrant. Every single person that works for government is your enemy dude.”
Here is the Michigan nutjob with the big anarchist flag talking about how anti-Trump he is pic.twitter.com/HIik2rqVM3
— Jack Posobiec (@JackPosobiec) October 8, 2020
Caserta was charged along with five additional people in the alleged kidnapping plot that sounded like it was written for a movie. For any of the people who are charged that are found guilty, they could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Current Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden was quick to jump on the blame Trump game when he said:
“There is no place for hate in America. And both of us have been talking about this for some time, about how white supremacists and these militants are a genuine threat. The President has to realize the words he utters matter.”
As far as Whitmer is concerned, she took a line straight out of the democratic playbook when she said:
“Hate groups heard the president’s words not as a rebuke but as a rallying cry, as a call to action. When our leaders speak, their words matter. They carry weight.”
Whoops looks like governor gretchen calling her would be kidnappers trump militia is completely wrong (as usual) these guys were straight up anti, trump, government, cop.
Did she call jussie smollett and have him put this together? https://t.co/BM22RyF6Ih— Dick Chibbles (@DickChibbles) October 9, 2020
Yet, shockingly enough, the mainstream media does not seem to be listening to the words that at least Caserta said, his words matter as well, because they certainly point to a much different source of influence.
Caserta did not make any references to the President’s reelection, did not say Make America Great Again or Keep America Great. However, the words he did say come straight from democrats.
Like Ilhan Omar, the democratic Minnesota Representative said a few weeks ago:
“Trump is a racist tyrant.”
Or like Democratic Virginia Representative Gerry Connolly who was upset that the President dare to speak for his concern of voter fraud with the mail-in ballots. Connolly called President Trump a “tinpot tyrant.”
Then, there was Democratic New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, who voiced his displeasure with the President noting that the general election could be delayed because of COVID-19. de Blasio said that delaying the election would be the “act of a tyrant.”
You see it is simple, and if you have not noticed it yet, we will explain. Democrats and the media always use the same main talking points and use the exact words during their talks.
For instance, the now debunked claim that the Russians had somehow worked with the President and his team to get elected, every single news outlet, except for Fox News, all started their coverage the same way, “Russian meddling in the election,” Election Interference.”
For a time, the democrats were all trying to convince the American voter that the President, himself was a dictator, a tyrant. Often times political leaders would refer to him as such, again, in an effort to convince voters this was the case.
Another point to understand is that if someone with Republican views does something horrific, it will be on the news cycle for weeks. Media ‘experts’ will pour over every little sordid detail and constantly point out that the person who committed the awful act had to have been an alt right conspiracy nut.
However, when the shoe is on the other foot and it is found, seemingly like this alleged kidnapping plot, that the deranged people are democrats, Antifa, or of any other liberal mindset, there will be very little reporting on those facts.
In case you missed it, here’s the original report:
FBI shuts down plot to target and kill police in their homes, abduct Governor Whitmer
October 8, 2020
DETROIT, MI – According to the FBI, several individuals that reportedly enlisted the help of a militia group, planned to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer and overthrow the local government.
Luckily, the effort was quashed after federal agents arrested six individuals said to have been conspiring about the intended actions.
The six people arrested were identified as Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta.

According to the court filing registered on October 6th, the FBI had been made aware earlier in 2020 via scanning social media that there were various murmurs of people entertaining the idea of overthrowing “certain government and law enforcement components”.
During this time period, the FBI noted that “among those individuals identified were Croft and Fox,” and that they began discussing a means to recruit others in this attempt at overthrowing the government and law enforcement.
By June 6th, the affidavit claims that Croft and Fox had arranged a meeting in Dublin, Ohio with 13 other people to discuss creating a new “society that followed the U.S Bill of Rights and where they could be self-sufficient”.
The group conferred on how to go about this desired utopia, discussing everything from peaceful measures “to violent actions”.
It was during this meeting that the FBI alleged that Governor Whitmer became the focus of ire from some present:
“Several members talked about state governments they believed were violating the U.S. Constitution, including the government of Michigan and Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Several members talked about murdering ‘tyrants’ or ‘taking’ a sitting governor.”
Around this time, Fox had reached out to a “Michigan based militia group” and began scheduling meetings with this group that included himself and the others arrested over the following months.
These meetings included discussing plans on how to storm government facilities, attempts to craft IEDs and crafting of plans on how to deal with law enforcement during combative confrontations.
What Fox and the others didn’t know was that the FBI had already been monitoring this specific militia group that he’d reached out to – and had a confidential informant already within the ranks:
“The militia group had already been brought to the attention of the FBI by a local police department in March 2020, when members of the militia group were attempting to obtain the addresses of local law-enforcement officers.
At the time, the FBI interviewed a member of the militia group who was concerned about the group’s plans to target and kill police officers, and that person agreed to become a CHS.”
By June 14th, Governor Whitmer had become the focus of the alleged offenders arrested, according to the FBI. A recorded phone call obtained by a confidential informant was said to have featured Fox talking about needing “200 men” to overtake the Capitol building in Lansing, Michigan:
“Fox said he needed “200 men” to storm the Capitol building in Lansing, Michigan, and take hostages, including the Governor. Fox explained they would try the Governor of Michigan for ‘treason,’ and he said they would execute the plan before the November 2020 elections.”
On July 27th, Fox was said to have began putting together a very specific plan on how to abduct Governor Whitmer, wanting to pull off a “snatch and grab” when she was arriving or leaving any one of her vacation homes.
Fox reportedly was explicit in his desires to abduct the governor, reportedly saying the following on July 27th:
“Snatch and grab, man. Grab the fuckin’ Governor. Just grab the bitch. Because at that point, we do that, dude – it’s over.”
The plan was that after Governor Whitmer was kidnapped, she would be then taken to a then-yet-to-be-determined “secure location” within Wisconsin to place her on “trial”.
By August 9th, after the group had met numerous times for various tactical trainings and discussions on intended actions to take; Harris brought up the idea of murdering Governor Whitmer:
“Have one person go to her house. Knock on the door and when she answers it just cap her . . . at this point. Fuck it. I mean . . . fuck, catch her walking into the building and act like a passers-by and fixing dome her then yourself whoever does it.”
Responding to the discussed plans on August 9th, Franks had told the confidential informant in a follow-up chat that he was “in for anything”:
“OK sounds good I’m in for anything as long as it’s well planned.”

Members from group were said to have begun conducting surveillance on one of Governor Whitmer’s vacation homes on August 29th, and also canvased local law enforcement stations to ascertain the proximity of the locations in an effort to estimate what police response times would look like when storming the home.
During this surveillance, Fox reportedly stated:
“We ain’t gonna let ‘em burn our fuckin’ state down. I don’t give a fuck if there’s only 20 or 30 of us, dude, we’ll go out there and use deadly force.”
A bridge was found within the vicinity of Governor Whitmer’s vacation home, which Garbin suggested that if matters became dire during their planned operation that they should detonate the bridge.
On the evening of September 12th, Fox, Garbin, Croft, Franks, Harris, Caserta and others had conducted a field training exercise to test out IEDs then began additional surveillance of the governor’s home. It was this evening that Fox had told one of the informants that what was perceived as a vacation home of Governor Whitmer’s was actually her primary residence:
“And it’s a perfect fuckin’ setup. Out of everywhere that she resides, this is the only one that’s probably actually feasible with a success rate.”
Further plans were discussed throughout September, and an arrangement to buy tactical gear and explosives on October 7th was in the works.
Apparently, that arranged buy never took place, as the FBI conducted several raids on October 7th, arresting the alleged conspirators.
