U.S. begins historic coronavirus vaccination effort
The largest vaccination program in U.S. history is now underway, with hospitals and clinics nationwide administering Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine to frontline health care workers. This comes the same day the U.S. death toll topped 300,0000. CBS News’ Mola Lenghi reports, and Dr. Teresa Amato, chair of emergency medicine at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, joins CBSN to discuss the historic effort.
