Details are still scarce on what began the chase, but the Georgia State Patrol began the pursuit in Bremen around 4:30 a.m. and eventually followed the suspect into Carroll County, where local departments including the sheriff’s office and police in Carrollton and Villa Rica joined the chase, according to a spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
