Trump supporters quickly gathered at the hospital late Friday evening, waving “Make America Great Again” banners and Trump/Pence campaign signs. With Trump being a strong advocate of law enforcement, his supporters also waved Thin Blue Line flags.

Social media was filled with negative, gloating and hate-filled tweets, drivers passing by screamed insulting messages to the president’s supporters and some from the “tolerant left” even walked up to the group and shouted obscenities at them.

Political pundits have filled the airways with skepticism, questioning whether the president even has the virus.

High-profile political leaders have seized on the diagnosis to wish the president a speedy recovery but then lecture America on the importance of mask wearing.
Social media has become filled with conversations and arguments about Trump having the virus. Many Trump haters have even wished for the president to die.

As more confirmed cases of White House staff or visitors are reported, the left seems to be using the news as fuel. Topics discussed on left-leaning networks range from delaying the SCOTUS hearings, to relieving the president of his duties to taking him off the November ballot and much more.
White House physician Sean Conley on Saturday afternoon stated that the president was responding positively to the treatments and was doing “very well.” The media is questioning the report, citing unnamed sources.
Chris Wallace, a Fox News host and the moderator of the first presidential debate, also seemed to take a jab at the president and his family, who have often been criticized for not taking the coronavirus seriously.
In speaking about the debate on Fox Friday after Trump announced he had tested positive, Wallace, 72, pointed out that he and the two candidates, Trump, 74, and Biden, 77, were the only ones Tuesday night who were not required to wear a mask, even though each is in the “high-risk factor” group for the pandemic.
However, he commented, the first family chose not wear masks but Biden’s contingent did.
The wearing of masks during the pandemic is just one of many hot-button topics that seems to cause more divide between Trump and the left. He often appears in public without a mask but regularly stays at least six feet away from others.
The mask debate has spewed out into the public and is a source for confrontations across the nation and can often be seen on social media posts.
Democratic hopeful former Vice President Joe Biden offered well wishes to the president on Friday while taking a familiar jab at Trump who he often calls out for not wearing a mask.
“This is not a matter of politics,” said Biden, who confirmed that he and his wife Jill had been tested twice on Friday. “It’s a bracing reminder to all of us that we have to take this virus seriously.”
Law Enforcement Today brought readers another story on the Left’s reaction to Trump’s diagnosis:
WASHINGTON, DC – In yet another obvious lie and smear attempt — not to mention a clear lack of human compassion — Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut claims that since President Donald Trump has tested positive for COVID-19, he will have to rely on Russian President Vladimir Putin to help with his reelection campaign.
In a time when Americans of all political stripes should be getting together in support of our president and hoping that he gets through the virus unscathed, Democrats are using it as an opportunity to attack him.
Yet here is Murphy, bringing up the lie yet again that Russia has something to do with President Trump.
Facts do not matter to the Democrats. In the multimillion dollar probe of the president, it was proven that he had no knowledge of any interference from the Russian government, not even the slightest instance that would indicate that they had helped him in any way.
If there had been any truth to the Democrats’ lies, he would have been removed from office.
Yet, that does not stop Democrats like Murphy from trying to yet again suggest that there was some involvement from the Russian government in aiding the president in getting elected.
They cannot possibly admit that Hillary Clinton was so bad of a candidate that any Republican could have won, without assistance from the Russian government.
Yet, here we are again, with Murphy spewing lies hoping that people do not research the facts for themselves.
He told CNN that he believed that the current Russian effort to support the president was “much bigger and bolder and smarter than it was in 2016.” Mind you, those claims have been proven to be lies.
Murphy said:
“If President Trump can’t be out there on the campaign trail for the next two weeks, then he is going to have to rely on his surrogates and, unfortunately, one of his surrogates is Vladimir Putin . . .
“So you are likely going to see this campaign ramped up by Russia over the next few weeks to try to substitute for the President’s absence on the campaign trail.”
Murphy claimed he worries that the Russian government would have a large role in deciding the winner of the U.S. presidential election.
He expressed concerns about the transparency of U.S. intelligence agencies and even suggested they could be downplaying ‘the size of the Russian operation and their clear desire to try to elect President Trump to a second term.’
Whether or not President Trump is able to quickly recover from COVID-19 remains to be seen.
However the claim that his team was compromised by the Russian government was answered when Muller and his team concluded their investigation months ago.
That’s when they determined there was no credible evidence that the president had been influenced or helped by any member of the Russian government.
Now, it has been proven time and time again, that the truth does not matter to the Democrats. The only thing that matters to them is what their base believes. And, in this case, their base believes whatever lies they tell them, because they refuse to research the truth for themselves.
