Texas student hits teacher in class, makes ‘racially
charged’ comments: video 1

A foul-mouthed Texas student hit a high school teacher in class, then phoned her mommy and made “racially charged” comments, according to now-viral video and district officials.

A 75-second clip posted to Twitter on Friday shows an unidentified white girl hitting a black teacher on the arm at Castleberry High School in Fort Worth after walking up to a desk in a classroom where the educator was making a phone call.

“Deal with me,” the angered student told the teacher in front of the class as she brazenly hung up the woman’s call, video shows.

“Oh no, no, no, no, no,” the teacher replied while walking around her desk and heading into the hallway for help. “You touched me. I did not touch you.”

The incensed student grabbed the teacher’s desk phone and vowed to call to her “momma,” saying, “You ain’t about to f–k me up, bitch!”

The puzzled teacher then gestured to the class, seemingly indicating she had no idea what set the student off as the girl appeared to talk to her mother while using the educator’s phone, video shows.

The peeved teen then threw the phone at her teacher before storming out of class, the footage shows.

School district officials said in a statement Monday that they were “greatly disturbed” by the footage showing the student getting aggressive with the teacher and making “racially charged” comments and threats.

“We first want to commend the teacher for the calm demeanor and utter professionalism she demonstrated throughout the entirety of the incident, even when the situation turned violent and offensive,” the statement read. “We support this teacher and her response in the strongest terms possible.”

District officials contacted local authorities regarding the incident.

“Castleberry ISD will follow the law in allocating appropriate discipline,” the district said.

“Harassment, racism and violence against our teachers will not be tolerated at Castleberry ISD, and we will take swift and effective action to protect our teachers so that they can perform their duties and educate students in a safe environment.”
