Scores of Suffolk elected leaders and law-enforcement officials joined friends and family of Inv. Sgt. Keith Allison on Monday to rename a building after a 25-year Sheriff’s Office veteran, who died in December from complications of COVID-19.
The building — now the Inv. Sgt. Keith Allison Personnel Investigations Bureau — is where Allison spent much of his career with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office.
“He was a community servant in every sense of the word,” Suffolk Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr. said during Monday’s ceremony.
