Brooklyn: Not sure if Mike Lupica made his point clearly (“Without a coronavirus vaccine, America can’t even think about bringing sports back,” April 4). If he’s advocating for a stoppage, I firmly agree. I am 61, an avid sports fan, a ballplayer (still), and enjoy reading the sports pages and watching recaps before I go to bed. I have season tickets to most stadiums for my business entertaining and will miss the games, but I will not feel comfortable going for the rest of this year or sending my clients. Even when the worst is over, this virus will not be gone. Let the owners, players and fans like myself suffer for a year. We will all recover and start fresh next season. Richard Rose
