The Ravens placed outside linebacker Pernell McPhee on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday, a day after he was activated from the injured reserve.

McPhee is the Ravens’ seventh active player on the reserve/COVID-19 list, joining outside linebacker Justin Houston, wide receiver Sammy Watkins, safety Chuck Clark, center Trystan Colon, and cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Chris Westry. Houston was added to the list on Monday.

If Houston and McPhee are unable to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Ravens would have only Tyus Bowser, Jaylon Ferguson and Odafe Oweh available at outside linebacker. Inside linebacker Malik Harrison also has some experience on the edge.

Under the NFL’s COVID protocols, McPhee and Houston could come off the list before Sunday’s game against the Bengals game if they are vaccinated and test negative for the virus twice. If they tested positive and are not vaccinated, both players would have to isolate for at least 10 days.

McPhee, who has played nine games this season, is returning from minor knee surgery. He hasn’t played since the Ravens’ 22-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10.

The Ravens also signed veteran cornerback Daryl Worley to the practice squad to help support an injury-depleted secondary. Worley, a former third-round pick in 2016, has played for six different teams and made 54 starts in his six-year NFL career.
