UCHealth held a drive-up mass COVID-19 vaccination event in the parking lots of Coors Field on Jan. 24, 2021 in Denver. UCHealth organized the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination event. They partnered with the governor’s office, CDPHE, city of Denver and Colorado Rockies to develop plans for this drive-through clinic. They are currently focusing efforts on vaccinating people ages 70 and older. The event vaccinated 1,000 people. They hope to hold an event to vaccinate 10,000 people over two days next weekend.
