The tragic toll, which counts reported deaths up until last Friday, includes 26 school paraprofessionals, 25 teachers, two administrators, two facilities staff, two school aides, two food service staffers, a parent coordinator, a guidance counselor and two central office employees. School safety officers, who work for the NYPD but spend their days in city schools, have also died from the virus, though Education Department officials didn’t specify how many.
