Broadway actor Nick Cordero, who has been battling the coronavirus since March, had a “rocky night” Monday, his wife Amanda Kloots said.

In an Instagram story on Tuesday, Kloots, 38, said that her husband’s oxygen level dropped and doctors were called to help clear away some of the infection in the actor’s lungs.

“Hey everybody, a quick Nick update: He had a bit of a rocky night. His oxygen levels went down, but [the doctors] got him right back,” Kloots said.

“So far, I think he’s back to being stable with some good-looking things,” she continued. “Fingers crossed for a good day and the possibility always of waking up.”

On Sunday, the “Waitress” actor underwent a tracheostomy, which would help remove him from a ventilator.

Cordero, 41, has been a patient at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles since April and struggled in his battle with coronavirus. Early last month, Cordero was fighting for his life and had his leg amputated due to a complication with blood thinners that the doctor were giving him.

Many of his “Waitress” friends, such as composer Sara Bareilles, and co-star Jesse Mueller have started a GoFundMe to help pay for Cordero’s medical bills.
