The list of California counties being monitored as of July 6 because of coronavirus concerns has added five counties since last week and dropped one — Santa Clara County.
New to the watch list since the previous Monday are the counties shown in orange on the map above:
- Colusa
- Marin
- Madera
- Monterey
- San Diego
The 18 others on the list were there a week ago, and are shown in red:
- Glenn
- Sacramento
- Solano
- Contra Costa
- San Joaquin
- Stanislaus
- Merced
- Fresno
- Kings
- Tulare
- Kern
- Santa Barbara
- Ventura
- Los Angeles
- Orange

- Imperial
Contra Costa and Merced counties were on the June 29 list, then had been removed briefly — and were back on again within days.
