After the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office announced that former Louisville Metro Police officer Brett Hankison was charged with three counts of felony wanton endangerment for blindly firing bullets into Taylor’s apartment, protests erupted in Louisville. Two police officers were injured in a shooting in the city during the unrest. Both are expected to fully recover.
